What we know about you, and why.

The enquiry form

The form asks for your name, your business name, your email address, a phone number if you want a call back, and your message. Formspree, Inc. relays the submission to our inbox and holds a copy as our form provider. We use what you sent to answer you, and we keep the exchange for as long as the conversation and our business records need it.

We ask for nothing in the form that we do not need to reply.

Email, phone and WhatsApp

If you contact us directly, your message travels through the provider you and we use: our mailbox runs on Namecheap's Private Email, and WhatsApp messages pass through Meta. Each processes your message under its own privacy terms.

Analytics, only if you allow it

The site loads no analytics until you choose Allow analytics in the cookie notice. If you do, Vercel Web Analytics counts page visits in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

Your choice is stored in your browser, not on our servers. Change it any time through Cookie choices in the footer; withdrawing reloads the page and nothing loaded under the old answer survives.

Hosting and server logs

Vercel serves the site and keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses and request times, for security and uptime. We run no advertising trackers, we build no profiles, and we sell no data.

Your rights

UK and EU law gives you the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy you can take elsewhere. Write to contacts@valtenstudio.com and we will act on it.

If you think we have handled your data badly, complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or to the CNPD in Portugal.

Changes

When the substance of this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
