MMACA

MMACA sells software development, IT consulting, information services and a premium concierge service from one company in Ruislip. A finance director and a private client come through the same front door and want nothing in common. The brief was to let each of them reach their part of the business without reading past three that belong to someone else.

The MMACA home page: the double-M monogram, a five-item menu, and a welcome headline above a get-started button.

Four businesses, one front door.

A finance director pricing an IT consultancy and a private client asking what concierge covers want opposite things from the same company. Put both on one page and each reads half a sentence written for the other, then leaves.

The obvious move is to cut. Pick the line that earns most, lead with it, bury the rest. We give that advice and stand by it when the extra services are hobbies. MMACA's were not. Four registered activities, each one staffed, and the concierge arm brings in clients the software side would never meet.

So the brief turned into a sorting problem. Whoever lands decides within seconds whether the page is talking to them, which meant the sorting had to happen before any of the selling did.

What we built.

  1. 01

    Used the names buyers use

Software development, IT consulting, information services, and the advertising arm that carries concierge and electronics trading. Four headings, in the order people ask for them.

  2. 02

    Gave concierge its own page

A private client has no reason to read about system integration on the way to asking what concierge covers. That side of the business sits on its own page, one click from the top menu.

  3. 03

Put an enquiry route on each service

One shared contact form makes every visitor explain themselves from a blank box. Each area now ends in an enquiry that already knows its subject. Service pages carry about two thirds of what comes in.

  4. 04

Wrote for two readers, kept one voice

The technology pages say what gets delivered and who delivers it. The concierge page says what gets arranged and what stays private. The vocabulary changes and the voice does not.

  5. 05

Built one identity across all of it

The double-M monogram, one blue, one typeface. Restrained enough for a buyer signing off a consulting retainer, clean enough for a private client reading on a phone.

  6. 06

Wired the tracking before the spend

Google Ads takes the high-intent technology and consulting searches. Meta takes concierge. Both were connected to the site's tracking before the first campaign went live, so a lead traces to the campaign that produced it instead of to a guess.

  7. 07

    Made it quick

The finished build scores 93 out of 100 for mobile performance, and organic visits have grown to roughly 1,900 a month. People who assess software for a living notice a slow site and draw conclusions from it.

Measured in enquiries.

The figures below come from MMACA's own analytics and ad accounts, six months after launch. We have rounded them, because monthly numbers move.

2.8%

of visitors enquire

Up from roughly 1% on the site this one replaced.

24

qualified enquiries a month

Averaged across the six months rather than picked from the best one.

32%

lower cost per qualified lead

Between the first month of campaigns and the sixth, on the same two channels. Tracked lead value ran at about 4.1 times the spend.

Before working with Valten, one of our biggest challenges was explaining everything we do without making the business feel overly complicated. They understood that very quickly and built the website around the way our clients actually look for our services. The end result feels much clearer, more professional and much closer to how we want MMACA to be perceived.
Eva, MMACA
The MMACA services page: software development, IT consulting, information services and the advertising arm, each with its own paragraph.
Four areas, named the way a buyer would name them.
The MMACA premium concierge page: the service described on its own terms, with its own enquiry route.
The concierge arm gets its own door, away from the systems talk.
The MMACA home page on a phone: the headline, the get-started action and the service cards in a single column.
The MMACA contact page: a short enquiry form beside the company's contact details.
The form asks what it needs, and nothing else.
